The title is from LinkedIn, as the announcement of new CEO of CLEARink Gene Feng.

(Seemingly, no discussion is possible from LinkedIn submissions - but Michael Kozlowski had also reported on GoodEreader, so that will have to be the submitted link.)

> ... 9.7”, 454ppi, B&W electronic-ink panel prototypes ... based on CLEARink’s TIR technology ... built on automated production lines ... capable of running 30fps videos with great contrast. Full-color panel prototypes will be available soon. Stay tuned. // CLEARink’s electronic-ink panels are easy on eyes, use extremely low power to display images and videos, and are outdoor viewable even in the strongest daylight. They are suitable for notebook, mobile, wearable, automotive and outdoor display applications

Several presentations of the TIR ("Total Internal Reflection") technology have been available on YouTube and on the original CLEARink website - which has remained unmaintained soon after CLEARink started having increasing participation from Eastern players ( https://www.clearinkdisplays.com/lenovo-invests-clearink ):

"They are capable of running 30fps videos with great contrast. Full-color panel prototypes will be available soon"

Sounds like the future of displays is around the corner.

It will of course remain crucial, among other factors, to see the final effect (remember PixelQi, Mirasol etc).

Of course, CLEARink has raised interest for many years: we need to see what it can do, finally.
