The pattern of someone being 'that person' to handle incidents is something I've seen many times before. It's a situation that can–at first–be very positive for the individual, but can become an organisational issue (with bus factor) and a source of resentment if left too long.
Isaac (author) is someone I watched be one of these people, and then later support others in avoiding becoming that person, or at least mitigating the negatives.
