When something similar happened in 2016, I read that Autopilot will tune out bright objects against a bright sky. https://www.forbes.com/sites/dougnewcomb/2016/07/18/elon-mus... I’m imagining that a low-dynamic-range camera may see certain tunnels/underpasses’ exits as bright white objects blocking the road. The above article refers to a now-deleted Musk tweet that says something similar.
